Windows® Pro XP O/S:
  • 512+MB RAM memory
  • Large Hard Drive (You should have at least 500MB free)
  • modem
  • CD ROM or CD-RW Drive
  • 250MB or 100MB Zip Drive for Backup
  • Sound Card & Speakers

Windows® XP Home O/S:
     Same as above with 256+MB RAM Memory.

Windows® 2000 Pro O/S:
     Same as above.

Windows® 98 SE O/S:
     Same as above with 256MB RAM Memory.

Windows® XP Home or Pro O/S:
Same as above with 256MB RAM memory.

Windows® 2000 Pro O/S:
Same as above with 256MB RAM Memory.

Windows® 98 SE:
Same as above with 128MB RAM Memory.

*NOTE:
If you have a network (LAN), you only need one (1) Zip Drive.

 

Peer-to-Peer File Server (Server is used a workstation):
The recommended maximum number of users in a Peer-to-Peer environment is five (5) (4 + the File Server). Same as above with RAM Memory requirements for the Peer-to-Peer Server as follows:

Dedicated File Server (Server is not used as a workstation):
If you need more than five (5) workstations, you should have a Dedicated File Server. The file server should be a Pentium III™ or faster processor with 1+GB of RAM Memory. We recommend Windows® 2000 Server O/S.
